Inside every ACCOR FlowTite® and PUSHON® supply stop valve are patented dual steel gripper rings. When you push the valve onto a pipe, these rings automatically compress and grip the pipe surface, creating a mechanical lock that holds fast against water pressure, vibration, and thermal cycling.
The connection is made in a single motion. No wrenches. No plumber’s tape. No compression nuts to tighten evenly. Just push, and the valve is set.
For existing/corroded pipe: Use the R-Series valves, which feature a compression ring that seats firmly on imperfect pipe surfaces.
Shut off the main water supply or the local supply line valve. No special preparation needed.
Cut the supply pipe cleanly and squarely. Deburr the cut end. The pipe must be clean and smooth at the insertion point (new pipe only for 4All/PEX models).
Insert the pipe into the valve body until it stops. The dual steel gripper rings engage automatically. Turn the valve handle to the open position and restore water pressure.
Average installation time: under 60 seconds per valve.
The FlowTite® R-Series and PUSHON® R-Series valves are engineered for replacement applications — where the existing pipe may be corroded, pitted, or otherwise imperfect.
A compression-style grip ring is built into the R-Series valve body. When pushed and tightened, it bites into the pipe surface regardless of minor surface irregularities, creating a watertight seal even on older copper lines.
No need to cut back the pipe to find clean copper. The R-Series works on the existing pipe stub, saving significant time on replacement jobs.
